Awards: Case District 8 Annual Awards

Problem

The University of Calgary brand and visual identity was overdue to be updated to reflect one of Canada’s top universities under 50 years of age. This complex project touched all levels of the university from leadership to faculties and down to the smallest applications across campus all in less than 6 months.

Responsibilities

  • Project management
  • Creative direction
  • Discovery process with faculties, alumni association and leadership team – brand workshops, interviews and over 40 development presentations to various internal groups
  • Visual brand system – illustration and design
  • 16-chapter usage guideline
  • Training 14 faculty’s marketing groups on visual identity implementation
  • Counselling 8 external agencies in the application of visual identity and guidelines
