Classroom Connections: Change It Up

Classroom Connections is committed to learning and youth empowerment. Their “Change it Up” initiative, launched in partnership with Indigenous communities, aimed to revolutionize education and drive action. With impactful pilot projects in Chipewayan Prairie First Nation and Montana First Nation, they achieved an 86% average retention rate among over 80 Indigenous youth. These programs enhanced resiliency, pro-social behaviors, literacy, and reduced at-risk behavior. “Change it Up! Entrepreneur” led to 33 new businesses and 83% employment. “Nipsis Café” transferred ownership to local entrepreneurs. “Change it Up! Trades” addressed labor shortages, resulting in 85% continuing to Portage College. “CiU Employability Essentials” responds to labor market needs. Join us in transforming education and communities!

I was contacted by Classroom Connections to rebrand and develop a new website and technology integrations to help the organization move from regional representation in Alberta to a national-level facilitation training organization.
